28 Creative Love Letter Ideas

1. Audio Love Letter My boyfriend and I are about to be separated again for school. What I did to help us cope with the distance (and the long drives) was find a lot of songs that either expressed my feelings for him, or had special meaning for us (like songs we had laughed about or did karaoke together, etc.). I wrote a "letter" on the CD with all the titles snuck in like "soon I'll be CALLING YOU again to tell you I love you." I made another copy of the CD for myself, and he's wrote a letter on it for me, too. As soon as he saw it he started to choke up!! It was such a great moment and just listening to it makes   me  feel close to him. I hope it works for     you, too! --submitted by Anonymous 2. Message In A Bottle When you're in a long distance relationship, all you can rely on is letters, cards, emails, and telephone calls. But my boyfriend came up with a creative way to send me a letter. I got a package from him one day ...
7 Things to Consider Before You Get Married You want a rewarding and fulfilling marriage? You can have one, but you need a dose of reality first. Here are things you need to say “I do” to before walking down the aisle… Do you have a sense of humor? A sense of humor is vital, and the first person you have to laugh at is yourself. Consider this- men and women have to hook up on some level to propagate the species, proving God has a sense of humor. He obviously assumed we would too. Do you know you’ll have to work? Hard? I solicited the opinion of dozens of women for this topic, and the feedback was unanimous. You have to be willing to work. Some women think if you’re a perfect match, your marriage shouldn’t be work. Those people are called divorcees. It’s true your marriage shouldn’t be work every hour of every day, but there will be days when your marriage will require extra energy (a term I prefer over “work”). Like Grandpa used to say, anything worth having...
8 ways to get your marriage out of a rut A stalled marriage is not the beginning of the end- it's a reality. Kids, bills and demanding jobs can stagnate the best of marriages. That said, a marriage stuck in a rut can not be ignored. If your car got stuck in the mud, or your kid got stuck in a well (heaven forbid), you'd call emergency vehicles. A stuck marriage needs the same. Maybe you just need to drop your marriage into 4-wheel drive to get unstuck, maybe you need the jaws of life. Here are a few ideas to get your marriage out of the muck:  1. Mini vacations The beauty of a mini-vacation is it doesn't have to be long, expensive or elaborate to recharge your marriage. Spring for a nice hotel room in your home town. Take the afternoon off together while the kids are in school. The next time you visit your mother, leave the kids with her for the weekend. The idea is to reconnect, which doesn't take long when you remove th...

The first time I saw you

I remember it like it was yesterday I never thought that it could be this way Everything changed when I walked in the room Because that's when I first saw you You sat there so innocent and sweet I saw your smile and my heart skipped a beat Your beauty was such a wonderful surprise Just seeing you I could hardly believe my eyes  The most beautiful girl I've ever seen So amazing it seemed like a dream But this girl is most definitely real I can't put into words the way you make me feel And maybe someday you'll feel the same way too But until then I know this much is true The sky has been the sweetest blue Ever since I first saw you

MY BEST FRIEND

My best friend closed her eyes today as her head lay in my hand, the doctor said, “she is in pain and was hard for her to stand.” The thoughts that scurried through my head as I cradled her in my arms, was of her playful spirit and loyalty and oh . . . her many charms. Today there was no gentle nudge with an intense, ‘I Love You’ gaze, only a heart that’s filled with tears remembering our joy-filled days. But an Angel appeared and said to me “You should cry no more, God also loves our canine friends               He’s installed a doggy door!”
